Minutes of Shermanbury Parish Council Meeting held Monday 14th December 2015 at 7.00pm in the Peacock Rooms at the Royal Oak Pub in Wineham.
92.15 Persons Present and Apologies for Absence
Present: Cllr V Harrison, Cllr C Whitton, Cllr T Brown, Cllr P Lightburn, Cllr G White, and Clerk D Langston.

93.15 Declaration of Members Interests – None declared
94.15 Public Forum – No members of the public were present
95.15 Approval of the previous PC meeting minutes held on 30th November 2015 Minutes were approved signed by the Chairman.
96.15 Matters arising from previous minutes not covered elsewhere on the Agenda.
Council resolved to agree the wording on any future planning application comments prior to submission. Clerk will email these to all Councillors. Action Clerk.
Councilor vacancy notice expires on 18th December 2015. If there are no applications for the position this item will be added to the Agenda for the next meeting.
97.15 Neighbourhood Plan (WASP) update – Cllr Brown confirmed the commencement of the Regulation 14 public consultation which will finish on Monday 25th January 2016. Leaflets confirming these dates and informing residents on where to locate the relevant documents have been delivered to each household in the parish. Clerk has also emailed all required statutory consultees.
As previously discussed it was confirmed that the intention is to form several sub- committees to ensure the aims and policies of the WASP, which reflect local opinion, are the subject of ongoing council plans. Action ongoing.
98.15 To discuss Planning and Enforcement Matters to include any planning applications received since production of the Agenda.
Council has been made aware that several of the footpath/road signs within the parish have been knocked down or are missing. Clerk will raise this item with the footpath ranger and this item will be discussed at the planned Highways meeting with WSCC on Tuesday 15th December 2015.
99.15 Parish Matters
99.1 Queens Birthday Celebrations 12th to 15th May 2016. Council agreed that this should be marked by the Parish. Several ideas were suggested which will be looked into prior to the next meeting. It was agreed that Cllr Whitton would mention the possibility of holding a Parish BBQ to Mr M Bailey. Action Cllr Whitton.
99.2 To consider items for WSCC Highways Meeting on 15th December 2015. Council has put together a portfolio of items which have been raised by residents during the production of the Draft Neighbourhood Plan. These items will be discussed with the Highways Officer and Highways Engineer during the meeting. Following which Council will be in a position to decide proposed action points. Action ongoing.
